About Me
I’m Bernadette McBurnie — Transformational Leadership Coach, TEDx speaker, Senior Partner at CoSuccess, and founder of SPARK the Women Leaders Forum.
At a defining moment in my career, I made a choice that shaped me profoundly. I stepped away for eight years to become a full-time mother — proudly serving as “Chief Home Officer”. That chapter reinforced a truth I teach:
Leadership is not linear. Reinvention is not weakness. It is power.
Born in France of Vietnamese heritage and having lived across Europe, Asia, and North America, I bring a deeply global lens to my work. I believe self-leadership is the foundation of lasting impact — because when we lead ourselves with clarity and conviction, we lead others with strength, compassion, and courage.
Contributing plays an important role to my sense of fulfillment. Over the years, I’ve dedicated my my expertise and time to educational and humanitarian initiatives, and to organizations committed to preserving the beauty of our planet, and protecting animal life.
Outside of my work, I’m an avid reader, a music and movie lover, and a passionate scuba diver. Most importantly, I’m truly blessed and deeply grateful for my incredible husband and our three remarkable children — who continue to be my greatest teachers in courage and love.
